Have you thought about earning money with your passion for pole dancing? Wouldn’t it be a dream job?
You can become a teacher and open up your own studio.
You can get famous and give workshops all over the world.
You can create a pole wear brand and sell it internationally.
You can build a social following and do ALL of the above ONLINE.
Let’s talk about the last point – the online part. This is what I have experience in and what I’ve been building full-time in the last 3 years.
First things first: Social media is important, because you can’t expect people to discover your work miraculously. You need to go to the people.
Take me as an example. No one knew about me, before I started creating YouTube tutorials.
The problem with social media is that most people get lost in chasing likes, views and followers.
They look at the number of their followers several times a day. They feel bad about it, they feel good about it and then they feel bad again. A rollercoaster of emotions!
They read about different strategies to grow followers fast. One day it’s one strategy, on the next day it’s another one.
And so they get lost and forget the big picture.
I get so annoyed about entrepreneurs who blindly run after Insta followers every day. So, when I recently reached 50k subscribers on YouTube and 10k on Instagram and people were congratulating me, I felt it’s time for an honest talk. Time to share my experience in building and growing a SUSTAINABLE online business.
What do these numbers mean? Can you live from it? Is this a dream job YOU should pursue?
The truth is that these numbers matter just as little as the packaging of a useless gift.
Without the business strategy behind ThePoleDancer.com, they’re just shiny numbers on my phone screen.
Don’t get fooled by these numbers!
In the following video I explain which numbers ACTUALLY matter from a business point of view, how I did it – what works and what doesn’t work for me. And I share the business strategy behind ThePoleDancer.com.
To be honest, I didn’t plan this video to be educational. But I hope that it will be helpful for you, if you’re considering to make a living out of pole dancing.
Or to build a SUSTAINABLE online business. Or if you’re simply wondering how this online thing works.
What’s your experience with social media?
