This quick pole choreography tutorial includes a list of the moves and a breakdown of three beginner moves (incl. common mistakes and progressive variations):
03:10 Leg Circles
04:20 Sunwheel
07:55 Cross Knee Release
However, this video is less about the moves. It’s more about the transitions, flow and musicality.
If these moves are new to you, you’ll naturally focus on getting them right first. But don’t stop just here. Keep practicing! – Work on the transitions and the fluidity.
If you’re more advanced, use this choreo to improve your dancing skills and musicality. Further, focus on the little movements, that give expression to your dance – head, arms, chest, hips.
It’s not important to look exactly like me. It’s actually impossible – we have different bodies, different body awareness and movement background.
Adjust this choreography to what feels best to you, and send me a video of your interpretation. Or tag me on social media: Instagram, Facebook
Keep on dancing!
P.S.: Here’s Beginner pole choreography #1 of the flow series.
