How badass are your HANDSTANDS on the pole?
How about your LEG FLARES?
Or your SHOULDER STANDS?
And your ONE-ARM SPINS?
I know, I know. It’s kinda hard to know just how impressive your pole moves are. After all, there are so many ways to do one thing. Your handstand can be a cute Handstand Butterfly but it can also be a dynamic combo that ends in a split.
BOTH are really cool, but strength and technique-wise, they’re on different levels.
If you want to test yourself and find out how far you’ve come, I’ve got something just for you.
I created a fun series of videos with progressions for the 4 categories above.
I call it the BADASS CHALLENGE!
The progressions are ordered by difficulty:
⭐️ Baby Badass
💪🏻 Pretty Damn Badass
🙀 Totally Badass
🚀 Badass Badass
🔥 The Most Badass (of Them All)
Most „Baby Badass“ versions are beginner-friendly. Still, they can be difficult for some students.
Some moves require a level of strength and flexibility that has to be trained specifically.
If you’re like „Uhmm, I’m not even badass yet 😅“, don’t worry. We’ve all been at that stage.
So here’s what you should work on to get there:
HANDSTANDS
Not badass yet?
Work on your headstands and elbow stands with lesson 1 of my Inversions bundle.
ONE-ARM SPINS
Not badass yet?
Work on your Pull-Push technique.
Who would have known that a “basic” move like the Chair Spin could prepare you for the super trendy and impressive Oona spin?! 🤩
As you can see, there’s always something new to work on. You can level up your pole moves no matter where you are in your pole dance journey.
So what level are YOU? Let me know in the comments?
